I have scanned Ten Products and only one barcode was recognized (not from the database, from the Scanner. Otter Scanner-apps had read the Code, but Not this One.

This app is helpful for when I am in the grocery store and unsure about an ingredient. However, the recent update makes it crash a lot.

I just got this and tried it out by scanning a bunch of common things I have like Katsup and peanut butter etc. It failed to find anything I have. I dont know why; maybe there is a good reason, but it found nothing of the many many common items I scanned. So, I dont know.

The app seems great but the background image is disgusting. Its not what I want to see when Im reading about ingredients that I need to avoid.

Great concept, but the scanner does not work and I agree the meat in the background of animal products is disgusting

I loved how it lists all the ingrediants as well as WHY they are not vegan. The only complaint I have is being unable to scan. It is a cool concept - it just doesnt work. If that was fixed, I would definitely rate it 5 stars. Overall, a great app. I learned a lot!

Its a nice concept. Scanner doesnt work though. I also dislike the meat display for the background.

I love the app, its incredibly useful! Unfortunately the background for the list of animal products is revolting and makes me want to puke. Change it please.

+1 vote to change background of meat products. This tool will be used almost exclusively by vegetarians and vegans who will be visually offended. Otherwise good app but I cant use it with that background, I find it disturbing.

Wonderful App , extremely helpful but I cant seem to get the scanner to work for me.

Its a good app and very useful but the meat background is a bit gross. Ill still use the app but would prefer the background to be changed.

Very helpful when I am not sure of an ingredients origin, but the scanner needs to be fixed and the interface updated for iOS 8. Other than that, a great app!

the app is great if you love to read ingredients, but the scanner doesnt work too well. it could use some more work.

This app had been a huge help for transitioning to veganism. Great resource!!!

Tried scanning multiple items, nothing worked. I thought I was doing it wrong but 3 other similar apps I downloaded worked fine. The list included was shorter than I thought as well.
