I have had this app for a while and it has really useful info, however the scanner is just annoying. It doesnt work most of the time and when it does (once in forever thus I dont know why I keep trying) the item is not in the database :(

I like this app, thanks very much for making it! But if you could get a URL scheme configured Id appreciate it! Then Id add a fifth star :)

Recently new to the vegan community and appreciate the convenience and easy use of the app to help ease the transition. (although agree with changing the background for the animal products..)

I really love the idea behind this app and its an amazing one. I understand that there are a lot of things out there that needs to be scanned and Im okay with that, but one big change that would be good is when putting new information in on a new scan, you can look on the box/can at the ingredients and search them or select them for the item. The reason for this is to make the difference between vegetarian and vegan.

Probably has useful info but only looked at a few before I deleted it. The raw meat background is too revolting

All is good. Just need iPhone 5/ios7 compatibility

The barcode scanner doesnt work :/

Fantastic app with a lot of awesome info that is incredibly helpful. I agree with the above poster though about the background making me sick. Theres got to be a better background picture that can be used thats not raw meat. Make it green and leafy!

Great app, but please... The raw meat is disgusting. Im trying to make an effort to better my life and animals well being, and you throw nasty raw meat as a background.

Great app, but could you please change the background for the animal ingridients??? Its obvious that the people who download this app are vegans so we dont wanna see it. It makes me wanna google things instead of using the app.

8-year vegan and almost fully embrace the app. Please give us (and the animals) your support and replace the "cold-cut" close-up with something more respectful (like fur).

I like this app. Very helpful. Only thing that REALLY bothers me is the meat background. Its disturbing. Please change it

I saw the comments about the gross meat background but they were old so I figured they would have fixed that. Nope, its still there. I guess they dont read their reviews.

I got this app and was pretty excited to be able to scan barcodes when shopping and tell at a glance what kind of animal product is in it. I tried scanning a power-ade bottle just to test the scanner. The app crashed. So I went shopping and everything I scanned (like 10 items ranging from cereal to candy to wine) made the app crash except 2 that never scanned and my hand just got tired of holding the phone over the barcode. TL;DR dont bother with this app.

Would have gotten a 4 or 5 star if the barcode scanner worked.

This app was going in the right direction but seems to be neglected and ignored by the creator(s).

Love the idea.. If it worked! Always freezes and so far I have only managed to scan 1 product and it didnt know wheter or not it was vegan... Cannot scan cans and it relies on the opinion of other costumers which can be mistaken... Many fellow vegans dont know that condoms, refined sugars and such are not vegan... Or many are not aware that some bananas will not be vegan or that some mushrooms are not vegan

Great app especially if youre new at being vegan but the scanner isnt working

Although I click on ingredients and read their details, the app freezes when I scan any barcode. I have to force close the app every time. Will delete and try back in a few mo this maybe. (Is It Vegan is a similar app that doesnt crash.)
